MasterCard has recently identified a phishing scam that uses email to request verification of credit card info. The emails look official and ask for verification of financial and personal information such as
account number, passwords, user names, Social Security Number, PIN and other sensitive data. Most of the messages warn of possible fraud and contain a link to a fake web site that very closely mimics a

Bureau and Federal Trade Commission.
